The library provides many children with their first chance to use and enjoy a library. The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. The school library is to support the students and teachers by providing access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources. It is also to ensure that all the students, teachers and staff are effectively using the ideas and information. The library encourages the love of reading and development of student’s independent learning skills.
Junior Library
The school has a well-equipped library having a collection of more than 1000 books for the tiny toddlers. Its mainly a centre coupled with a knowledge hub complete with an extensive collection of national and international books, comics, posters, learning equipment.
Senior Library
The school has a well-equipped library having a collection of more than 2000 books. We are also subscribing to various text and reference books, Journals, Magazines and News Papers. Its mainly a center coupled with a knowledge hub complete with an extensive collection of national and international books, journals, periodicals, The School aims to switch over to e-library in near future.
Care of library books
We request the students to follow the care given below :
1. Keep books away from water
2. Do not throw books
3. Turn pages one at a time
4. Use bookmark to “save” where you stop reading. DO NOT FOLD OVER A CORNER OF A PAGE!
5. Do not draw or write in library books
6. Please return books on time
7. If a book is damaged, DO NOT REPAIR IT YOURSELF. Tell the people in the library what is wrong and let them fix it.
